Electrician - School Refits

Location: Levenshulme, Manchester

Working Hours: Full-time (Typically 40 hours/week)

Rate: £20-£25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Overview

We are seeking qualified and experienced electricians to work on a series of school refurbishment projects in and around Crewe. Projects include electrical upgrades, rewiring, installation of energy-efficient lighting systems, and ensuring all works are compliant with current safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in primary and secondary schools. Replace and upgrade lighting to LED systems. Install trunking, conduit, distribution boards, sockets, and switches. Work to electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and building plans. Test and inspect electrical systems and complete relevant certification. Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations. Liaise with site managers, other trades, and school staff as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health & safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills
