ElectricianManchester BriefElectrician needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Manchester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Electrician that takes pride in their work.The successful candidates will be taking on breakdowns as and when, looking at lighting, heating, power supplies etc. My client would like candidates with their MUPEs (Mobile elevated work platforms) as there will be some working at heights.The successful candidate would need to hold their 18th edition and a hold a strong maintenance background.BenefitsSalary: Competitive24 day's holidayPension PlanCareer ProgressionWhat the role entails:Some of the main duties of the Electrician will include:Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the clients maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion with appropriate comments to evidence completion of workMaintenance and repair of Electrical Systems including Lighting, Heating, Power Supplies etc.Carry out Installation work and complete appropriate CertificationOperation and interrogation of BMS/HVAC systemsEnsure that all relevant paperwork / documentation is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator. Complete supplementary documentation / E-Forms relating to the maintenance task as dictated by your line managerUpdate CAFM system in real time with start/wait/stop completion times and provide full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works requiredEnsure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager. This is to be indicated and recorded within the CAFM systemEnsure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order. In accordance with the delegated authority with the applicable contract or authorised by the clientEnsure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial worksWhat experience you need to be the successful Electrician:A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essentialQC Number required18th EditionTrade qualified Electrician with post Apprenticeship experienceTesting & Inspection 2391 (Desirable)Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certification (Desirable)This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Electrician to progress their career.
