Job Description

Mactech is recruiting qualified Electrical Installation Technicians to support critical water infrastructure projects across Scotland. You will be responsible for installing, terminating and testing electrical systems to industry standards, working from drawings and helping ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Day to day you will:

  • Install and maintain electrical containment, cabling and equipment to industry standards
  • Gland, terminate and test electrical systems in line with BS 7671
  • Work confidently from drawings to deliver safe, high-quality installations
  • Support planning and the smooth delivery of installation activities
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to keep systems operating reliably

What you will need:

  • A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition
  • JIB Gold Card
  • ECS Safety Card
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided)
  • Flexibility regarding work location, as this role involves working away from home throughout Scotland (accommodation and travel arranged and covered by our client)
