XM Recruit are currently looking for an Electrician to work in the Newmarket area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company
Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)
Hours: The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).
We are looking for an Electrician to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
Key responsibilities:
· General property maintenance & installation work.
· Carry out testing, inspection & certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring installations.
· Electrical installations on 3 phase & single-phase equipment & to modify both as required.
· Knowledge & installation of LED lighting.
· Carry out repairs and corrective works of internal & external wiring systems.
· Knowledge of leading & trailing edge dimming systems.
· Maintenance & installation of emergency lighting.
· Wiring fault diagnostics.
· Knowledge of plant room electrical services, including motors, pumps, FCU etc.
· Be able to follow site plans & schematic drawings.
· Seasonal shift & on call rota.

Requirements:
· Recognised City & Guilds (C&G) or NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualifications.
· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
· City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing, or equivalent
· Full UK driving licence.
