Engineering Technician (Electrical)Permanent | 37.5 Hours per WeekSalary: Up to £41,000 per annum(Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)We have an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join a well-established and professional team, supporting the maintenance and safe operation of site services.This role would suit a qualified Electrical Engineer or Technician looking for a stable, long-term position with a strong emphasis on compliance, safety, and proactive maintenance.Key Requirements18th Edition (or 17th Edition considered)NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical disciplineProven experience in PPM and reactive maintenanceAbility to work independently and as part of a wider engineering teamStrong health & safety awarenessRole & ResponsibilitiesCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairsSupporting site compliance activities and statutory inspectionsWorking alongside and supervising external contractorsDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in a timely mannerEnsuring all works are completed in line with health & safety requirementsParticipating in the on-call rota (typically 1 week in 4)Working Hours & BenefitsMonday to Friday, 7.5 hours per dayStandard working hours typically:8:00am 4:00pm or9:00am 5:00pmFlexibility required to meet operational demandsOccasional weekend work for out-of-hours repairs or project support(Overtime or time off in lieu provided)On-call allowance: £135 per weekAdditional call-out payments on top of allowanceWhats on OfferCompetitive salary up to £41,000Permanent, stable role with long-term developmentSupportive engineering team and well-structured environmentClear expectations and sensible work-life balanceJBRP1_UKTJ
