Job Description

We are working with a reputable client based in Ashford(TN24)who require anElectricianto join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying£200- £250per day(DOE).

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7.00am - 5.00pm

Holidays: 28 days holiday (includingbank holidays)

(Company vehicle +fuel card provided)

The ideal candidate will have previous experienceworking as an Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in line with technical specifications and safety regulations
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment
  • Repair or replace defective wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other components
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and health & safety standards
  • Accurately document completed work and report system conditions to management
  • Support the planning and delivery of electrical projects as required

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding
  • Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical tasks
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence preferred; willingness to travel between sites as needed
