ECHO Personnelis seeking a skilled and reliableElectrician / Wiring Technicianto join our clients busy manufacturing team inCorby.
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of conveyor and material handling equipment, supplying high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions to distribution and logistics operations across the UK and internationally.

Pay Rate:£13.00£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours:Day Shift, Monday to Friday

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems in conveyor units and workshop equipment
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and test equipment effectively to complete electrical tasks
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Collaborate with mechanical and assembly teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Adhere to safety regulations, company procedures, and best practices at all times
  • Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues encountered

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrician, wiring technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Competent using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good level of spoken and written English
