Working Electrical Qualified Supervisor
we sre are looking for a hands-on, highly competent Working Electrical Qualified Supervisor with a strong background in solar installation to join our growing team. This role is 90% on the tools, so you’ll be leading from the front while also driving quality, compliance, and safety.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operational & Technical
*
Actively deliver and supervise solar electrical installations UK-wide
*
Lead by example – carrying out high-quality install works while coaching apprentices and electricians
*
Oversee and sign off electrical certs (NICEIC/MCS)
*
Support the team with guidance on testing, inspection & regulatory compliance
*
Carry out site surveys, manage resources, and ensure smooth job delivery to time and budget
*
Communicate with clients and internal teams to maintain quality and performance
Commercial
*
Spot opportunities for additional works and efficiencies
*
Help manage variations and support quoting with technical input
Health & Safety
*
Ensure all works meet H&S standards (zero tolerance on non-compliance)
*
Deliver toolbox talks and team briefings
*
Create/assist with RAMS
*
Champion safety-first culture across the business
✅ What You’ll Need:
*
Solid solar installation experience
*
UK electrical qualifications – 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection
*
Previous experience as a Qualified Supervisor
*
CSCS card
*
Own basic hand tools/battery tools
*
Based in the Midlands (ideal but not essential)
*
Willingness to travel nationwide, incl. overnight stays (expenses covered)
*
Extras? 1st Aid, IPAF, PASMA – all a bonus!
