This role involves working remotely and may require occasional weekend work or flexible hours.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot electricity sub-meters and associated equipment in commercial and industrial environmentsWork with Dataloggers, communication systems, LV switchgear, and CTsConduct risk assessments and produce Health & Safety Method Statements for on-site workMaintain accurate records of installations and site visitsLiaise with clients and colleagues to ensure high-quality service deliveryTravel across the South Territory and work independently at customer sitesEssential Qualifications & SkillsMust have good computer skills, including inserting data into spreadsheets, programming power meters and data loggers via software (training given).BS 7671:2018 fully qualified electricianModbus RTU/TCP/IP experienceECS operative cardFull UK driving licenceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and in remote locationsExperience with LV Switchgear & Panels, cabling, and installation proceduresStrong IT skillsUsing your own vehiclePreparedness to stay away from homeDesirable / Trainable SkillsMeter installation, Dataloggers, LV switchgear, and CTs (training provided)Knowledge of LoRaWAN, Low Power RF, IoT ConnectivityC&G 2391 Inspection & TestingKnowledge of building mechanical systemsAbility to accept delivery of equipment to home addressWhats On OfferMileage and expenses are covered for all travelOn-the-job training for meter installation systemsOpportunity to work independently and develop technical skillsDynamic and supportive team environmentAdditional NotesOpen to fully qualified electricians with strong electrical experience, even if direct smart metering experience is limited, as training will be providedMust be comfortable working alone at client locations with remote supportWhats next?
