Job Title: Electrician (Mobile) - Retail Supermarkets\n\nLocation: Covering Multi-Site across: Manchester\n\nTotal Compensation Offered: £40,593.78 (Including call out payment + training payment) + Overtime available\n\nOvertime Monday to Friday- Paid at 1.5x Hourly Rate | Overtime Weekends- Paid at 2x Hourly Rate\n\n(Potential for 5-20 hours per month of overtime, although not guaranteed)\n\nBenefits: Company Van with Fuel Card (personal use too), 5% Company pension scheme, BUPA Healthcare (single cover), 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), Retail Discounts, Progression Opportunities\n\nHours: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday\n\nOn call / Standby: 1 week in every 4\n\nPlease note: Successful candidates will be required to go down to a training facility for 1 week in NW England to complete bakery and catering equipment training.\n\nOur client, a leader in the facilities management space, are seeking a qualified electrician to integrate in to their successful electrical team.\n\nJob Purpose\n\nThis is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive Electrical maintenance across a number of sites in the area. The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and minor PPM's. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down company Health and Safety policy.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n\nComplete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed\nConduct emergency lighting tests and repairs\nIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the line manager of findings\nEnsure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date\nAdvise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site\nCarry out surveys and complete reports as required\nAlways comply with company Health and Safety policy\nYou will be part of a 24/7 call out rota (1 week in every 4)\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\n\nCity and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or NVQ/ SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.\nAM2 or approved electrician status\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671: 2018)\n3 Phase Electrics and its applications\nAchievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales\nRespond to service call requests within agreed timescales\nCandidates must have a full and valid driving licence and full use of their own motor vehicle.\nTo apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Andrew Bridges at PDA SEARCH & SELECTION LIMITED.\n\n(phone number removed) | (url removed) | (url removed)
