Job Function: Experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitter for building, refurbishing and maintaining specialised equipment for the Water & Wastewater Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities Build and wire specialised equipment from details contained in general arrangement drawings as supplied by the Design office Mechanically assemble and test all types of equipment in the Jacopa product range and including other manufacturers machinery, both in our workshop & suppliers’ premises where necessary. Assist with training and advising new staff members of all aspects of assembly techniques and procedures within the workshop environment. Using specialised knowledge of the Jacopa products consider solutions to any electrical and mechanical engineering problems which may arise Install new wiring and electrical devices for plant facility Enable improvements to quality, safety and speed of manufacture and assembly, working to quality standards as set by the Company manual and within recognised Health and Safety standards Liaise with other departments in all aspects of electrical work to assist with obtaining solutions to problems etc Ensure manufacture and assembly requirements are within the time constraints as detailed in the project budget Facilities electrical and maintenance fitting ...
