We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.\nThe below job description will outline this position of:Electrician\nTypically, this person will be a skilled tradesperson responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of electrical systems and components on ships. The role focuses on delivering high-quality work to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient ship performance in line with company and industry standards.\nHSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.\nDuties and responsibilities of the Electrician:\n * Installation of all types of cables (multi-core, single core, co-axial, fibre optic) and Installation and alignment of electrical systems and equipment (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches, etc.).\n * Cable reeving, banding, terminations, and testing.\n * Fabricating, assembling, and installing electrical parts of the ship as required.\n * Using hand and mechanical tools to carry out fabrication and installation tasks.\n * Supporting apprentices and junior colleagues with knowledge transfer and coaching when needed.\nQualifications and requirement for the Electrician:\n * Experience as a marine electrician or industrial background (large-scale)\n * Good knowledge of electrical trade practices, fabrication, and installation processes.\n * Ability to read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings.\n * Relevant trade papers or apprenticeship completion.\n * Clear understanding of SHE regulations and risk awareness.\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
