Electrician

Working hours: Monday-Friday (08:00 – 17:30 *Door to door*)

My client specialises in serving the rail, education, health, local authority, and church sectors throughout Southern England. They offer a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance services, all delivered with a commitment to professionalism and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on all electrical equipment on the client’s asset register Complete worksheets in a timely and efficient manner and upload to the job Make recommendations regarding condition of plant and submit Life Expired asset reports if necessary Completing Planned Maintenance works in accordance with the client specification Compile list of remedial works required after PPM visit Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing costings for any remedial works Order job materials and update the office Assist with other skillset work where necessary Attend training and H & S courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager. In the event of an accident, report to your nominated First Aider who will be introduced to you during your site induction. Complete accident report forms as directed by your site foreman/Contracts Manager

The successful candidate will have:

BS 7671 – 18th Edition Inspection and testing At least 3 years’ experience in the field PTS Card preferable but not essential Have a systematic/logical approach to tasks & problems Excellent communication and organisational skills
