Hill McGlynn is recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E contractor for experienced Electrical Improvers to work on a 14-week commercial project in Sutton Coldfield, starting Monday 4th August 2025.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-managed site and assist with a full electrical installation alongside a skilled team of electricians and foremen.
The Role:
You’ll support the delivery of a complete electrical package, including containment, lighting, power, data, CCTV, and access control systems. This is a site-based, hands-on role requiring proven experience and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with electrical installation tasks including containment, cabling, and equipment setup
* Supporting the installation of lighting, small power, data, CCTV, and access control systems
* Working under the supervision of qualified electricians and site foremen
* Following electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
* Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
* Valid ECS Card (Improver or Trainee level)
* Previous experience on commercial electrical installations
* Strong working knowledge of containment systems, lighting, power, data, CCTV, and access control
* Good attitude, team player, and able to work under supervision
* Available to start on 4th August 2025 and commit to the full duration of the project
