Polyfoam XPS is seeking a time-served, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at our Hartlepool manufacturing plant. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in maintaining and improving plant reliability and performance. This position operates on a 12-hour shift pattern , covering days and nights, 7 days per week 4 on / 4 off Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment. Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motors Mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment. Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency. Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects. Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S procedures Maintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.
