Job Description
We are looking for a Electrical Wireman
\n
Salary: £12.71 -£17.00 an hour (depending on experience)
\n
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
\n
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm with a long weekend off!
\n
Temporary to permanent contract
\n
JDR is recruiting for a Electrical Wireman to work in a manufacturing site in Bridgwater, Somerset.
\n
The Role:
\n
\n
Control panel building and machine wiring.
\n
Must be able to read and understand electrical wiring drawings and schematics.
\n
The role will involve point-to-point wiring
\n
Cable crimping
\n
Looming, and cable terminating.
\n
You may be required to do general panel fitting which would involve marking out and drilling work.
\n
\n
Qualifications & Skills Required:
As a Electrical Wireman you will have the following skills and experience:
\n
\n
Panel wiring.
\n
Drilling, tapping & electrical assembly work.
\n
Crimping, terminating, looming work.
\n
Soldering.
\n
Panel fitting.
\n
Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
\n
An understanding of electrical motor control and wiring would be of benefit.
\n
Experience and the ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative are essential.
