Low Voltage Appointed Person (LV AP) – Electrical Testing | Commercial Project | Paddington\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Appointed Person who can also perform Electrical Testing for a major commercial project in Paddington, starting end of January. The initial assignment will run for 6 months, with the opportunity for long-term work on future commercial projects across London as our business continues to grow.\n\nFlexibility to work both day and night shifts would be advantageous, but not essential.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\n * Act as an LV Authorised Person on-site.\n\n * Prepare, issue, and cancel safety documentation.\n\n * Develop and implement switching schedules.\n\n * Complete any required training to maintain LV AP status.\n\n * Ensure compliance with JV Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational standards.\n\n * Conduct and record weekly safety tours of works.\n\n * Supervise electrical works where necessary.\n\n * Perform or oversee testing of LV systems under both dead and live conditions.\n\n * Inspect LV installations\n\n * Plan and execute inspection and testing\n\n * Document all live test results and complete NICEIC paperwork for QS approval.\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * LV Appointed Person certification.\n\n * Previous experience as an Authorised Person.\n\n * Strong background in electrical installation.\n\n * Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete Electrical Installation Certificates accurately, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.\n\nRate: £300 – £350 per day (DOE)\n\nInterested?
