Electrical Technician
Salary – £37,477 - £51,531 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location – EnviRecover EfW, Oak Lane, Hartlebury Industrial Estate, DY10 4JD
As an Electrical Technician at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our energy-from-waste facility. This hands-on position involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of electrical systems and equipment across the site.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days a week.

What will you be doing?
- Operate and maintain electrical systems to ensure plant reliability
- Diagnose, investigate, and resolve electrical faults across plant equipment
- Assist with planning and executing method statements and risk assessments
- Support the Engineer in maintaining calibration and communication systems
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in the out-of-hours service
- Contribute to plant shutdown maintenance and contractor supervision
- Participate in training and promote safe working practices at all times
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Technician with:
- A background in power , process, or similar industrial environments
- Experience with high voltage equipment (desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience supervising contractors and managing maintenance contracts
- A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and team collaboration
