Electrical Technician (Water Treatment / MEICA Projects)

Are you an Electrical Technician with commissioning experience, looking to join a specialist engineering company who will support your development with flexible working, long-term project stability, and clear progression opportunities?
\n
\n
On offer is the chance to become a key member of the electrical delivery and commissioning team, working on water and wastewater treatment projects across the Birmingham and Midlands area. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and fault-finding of electrical and associated MEICA systems on site.
\n
\n
This company is a well-established process engineering specialist with over 20 years' experience delivering projects across the water, energy, environmental, and facilities sectors. They are known for their technical expertise, strong safety culture, and continued investment in their engineering teams.

This role would suit an Electrical Technician with MEICA experience, looking for a varied, site-based role within the water industry.

The Role:
\n
\n
Installation and servicing of small to large-scale electrical installations
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
* Initial power-up of pumps and drives on site
* Supporting commissioning documentation including FATs, SATs, pre-test inspections, and snag lists
* Electrical systems fault-finding, testing, and recertification
\n
\n
\n
The Person:
\n
\n
Time-served apprentice or NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
* Full clean UK driving licence
\n
\n
\n
