Job Description
Electrical Technician\n\nContract Duration: 5 months\n\nLocation: York\n\nPay Rates:\n\nUmbrella Pay Rate: £26.07 per hour / PAYE Pay Rate: £20.93 per hour\n\nRole Overview:\n\nRunning of cables and terminate cables in control panels.\n\nRepair and reassemble components following technical guidelines.\n\nModifications of Electrical components of engineering harness\n\nSupporting with the completion of repairs, modifications, commission within a well-equipped rolling stock depot\n\nWith minimal supervision undertake Modification of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the modification and production plan.\nUndertake any other duties as and when required within the scope of the modification and production work\nWorking underneath the specified engineering instructions and drawings, following the methods and tooling specified within them.Knowledge & Experience:\n\nMust have relevant experience in an engineering environment\nAbility to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures\nKnowledge of Health & Safety including bio-hazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)\nAbility to use a laptop for diagnostic purposes\nAbility to understand and interpret relevant technical publications\nKnowledge of Health & Safety including biohazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)\nAbility to understand and care for tools, equipment, and PPE\nAbility to understand and interpret relevant technical publications\nAbility to use a laptop for diagnostic fault finding and rectification purpose\n\nAll PPE provided and Health and Safety explained before and on site.\n\nRullion supports applications from a diverse talent pool.
