Electrical Systems Engineer\n\n12 month contract\n\nBased in Stevenage\n\nOffering £55ph Inside IR35\n\nDo you have experience writing and debugging test sequences?\n\nDo you have experience with C or Java?\n\nDo you want to work with an industry-leading company?\n\nIf your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!\n\nAs the Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.\n\nYou will be involved in:\n\nInterpretation of electrical and functional test requirements from test specifications\nProvide test solutions to meet the test specification requirements, from planning and kick-off meeting, through test sequence coding, procedure preparation, and debug to execution\nProvide first-line support to the test operations team\nClose out tests with Post Test Review and Test Report\nTo provide technical inputs to project test reviews (Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, Test Review Boards, and Non-Conformance Review Boards)\nDevelopment and debug of Automatic Test procedures (ATP) using a bespoke high-level S/W (Open Centre checkout system based on the Elisa and Open Centre Bridge based on JAVA) to test the systems\nPreparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with actions from Non-Conformance Review Boards\nSupport systems functional and performance tests during environmental test (TVAC, Magnetic, EMC), functional and performance tests \n\nYour skillset may include:\n\nHands-on experience writing test sequences/scripts\nKnowledge of Elisa and JAVA\nWorking knowledge of TMTC Databases\nSystems and subsystem technical knowledge and awareness, e.g. Data Handling, Packet Utilisation Standard, Data Bus Communications - 1553, Spacewire, Attitude &, Orbital Control, Star Trackers, Gyros, Momentum Wheels, power systems, batteries, Solar Arrays, Thermal Control, heaters, thermostats, FDIR, etc.\nProgramming and scripting , writing and debugging Linux/Unix bash scripts\nKnowledge of a programming such as C, Java, Python, TCL, VBA\nCompetent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements, e.g.
