Electrical Supervisor
Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company who haverecently grown their Electrical team and are now looking to bring in an additional Electrical Supervisor. This will provide a variety of work aroundthe North-west, with occasional work further afield. They specialise in commercial projects, such as offices, warehouses,schools, renewable energy systems, as well as education and university buildingsetc. If you're looking tojoin a growing team with an established contractor across the north-west, in a role with plenty of additional earning potential, then this role is perfect for you:

• Starting salary of c.£47k (in line with JIB, based on 40-hour week) with lots of potential for additional earning, greatly increasing your annual take-home pay

Requirements for this role:

• Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments and managing teams of installation Electricians
• Gold JIB Electrician Card
• SSSTS
• BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations
• IPAF preferred but not essential
• DBS preferred but not essential
• Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)

Duties will include:

• Supervising teams of electricians as they perform electrical installations, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
• Ability to Supervise Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment on site, with an ability to fault-find electrical systems
• Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and with accurate problem-solving skills
• Working independently on electrical installation as well as effectively contributing to team environments if and when required
• Ability to work alongside subcontractors and other trades on commercial projects
• Good timekeeping skills to work to deadlines and changing project timelines
• Be involved with paperwork, Health & Safety, RAMS, and toolbox talks
• Being customer-facing on various contracts, meaning effective communication and customer-service skills are essential
