Electrical Supervisor – NICEIC

Blaymires Recruitment is working with a leading social housing maintenance contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team near Portsmouth.

The Role: You’ll supervise a local team of electricians performing EICR reports and remedials for Portsmouth City Council properties. Acting as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, you’ll ensure technical compliance with BS7671, oversee certifications, support inspections, audits, and maintain safety standards across housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise electrical operatives

* Ensure NICEIC and BS7671 compliance

* Conduct inspections, testing, and sign-offs

* Provide technical support and training

* Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies

* Manage team performance and quality assurance

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)

* NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor experience

* Full, clean UK driving licence

* Social housing experience (preferred, not essential)
