Electrical Site Supervisor – Food processing installation **

Location: Bristol / Bath / Swindon / Trowbridge - Wiltshire
Contract: £32.00 - £35.00p/h + Expenses (Outside IR35 / Ltd co.)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10hr days – 12 -18 months initially with likely extension

The Role:

We are proud to represent a market-leading engineering installation organisation seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor from a Food process installation background, to deliver electrical installations on site at a key customer FMCG food manufacturing site in Wiltshire.

Key duties & Responsibilities:

* Ensure electrical installations teams carry out work as required and to specification

* Supervise installation, commissioning, and fault resolution of electrical systems

* Carry out test & inspection of all electrical equipment on installation projects

* Lead all testing activities to ensure compliance with NICEIC guidance and BS 7671 regulations.

* Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong and lasting relationships

* Supervise teams of electricians (2–10 personnel)

* Supervise and support installation electricians, ensuring all work follows required processes and procedures

* Complete and document test and inspection reports accurately

* Maintain professional standards and a safety-first culture on-site

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, and to required H&S and quality standards

Candidate Profile:

* Technical & Industry Expertise - Strong background in Food processing / FMCG electrical systems including LV power distribution and control systems

* Experience with process and material handling equipment (mixing, conveying, cooking, packing, palletising)

* Ability to integrate electrical systems with wider engineering and process operations

* Apprentice trained with 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* Inspection & Testing (2391), SSSTS desirable

* Experience in FMCG electrical site installations

* Proven supervision experience

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Commutable within the Wiltshire area
