Electrical Shift Leader
Location: Spitalfields, Bishopsgate, London
Salary: Up to £52,000 + extensive overtime
Shift Pattern: Continental (Days & Nights) 07:0019:00 / 19:00-07:00

My client is a Technical Maintenance Solutions company who are recruiting an Electrical Shift Leader to work on a prestigious landlord services contract in Spitalfields, managing critical building systems on behalf of a Real Estate & Property Management business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, technically capable electrical engineer ready to step into a leadership role on a high-profile commercial site.

The Role

As Electrical Shift Leader, you will:

• Act as the senior electrical engineer on shift, leading day-to-day technical operations
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services
• Take ownership of electrical systems including LV distribution, plant, and associated infrastructure
• Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly
• Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment
• Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold electrical qualifications (Level 2 considered if technically strong)
• Have solid experience working within commercial building services
• Are confident fault-finding across electrical and wider M&E systems
• Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations
• Are professional, reliable, and safety-focused

High Voltage experience is not essential HV training will be provided after 3 months.
