Electrical Shift Engineer – City of London – £55,000 + Benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The Role: As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault finding of electrical systems within a critical environment. You will work as part of a shift team to ensure all plant and equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Shift Pattern:
* Continental shift pattern
* Days & nights (7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am)
Key Responsibilities:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Fault finding on electrical systems and associated plant
* Working on LV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, and control panels
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
* Supporting site operations and liaising with clients when required
Requirements:
* Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition (essential)
* Experience within commercial or critical environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively within a shift team
Package:
* Salary: £55,000 per annum
