We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer working 38 hours per week on average to support operations within a large, well-established manufacturing site. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, improving maintenance efficiency, and supporting safe, continuous production.

The Role:

Provide electrical maintenance support across the site to minimise downtime.
\n
Improve maintenance and operational efficiency through preventative and planned maintenance activities.
\n
Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
\n
Execute planned maintenance schedules to support equipment reliability and compliance.
\n
Respond to breakdowns and unplanned stoppages, ensuring repairs are completed right first time.
\n
Utilise the CMMS system fully, ensuring accurate work reporting and shift handovers.
\n
Support and develop team members through coaching and on-the-job guidance.
\n
Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times.
\n
\n
About You:
\n
\n
Minimum HNC in an Electrical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
\n
Completed a recognised four-year electrical apprenticeship (essential).
\n
Strong experience with PLCs, HV/LV systems, fault finding, electrical machine maintenance, and isolation procedures.
\n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
\n
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills, using data where possible.
\n
Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability.
