We are looking for a driven and technically competent Electrical Sales Manager to lead business development and accelerate growth across our key electrical installation and compliance sectors.

You will play a central role in securing new electrical projects, managing client relationships, and overseeing the entire sales cycle—from initial technical engagement through to project handover. The position blends strategic sales leadership with strong electrical engineering awareness, particularly within commercial electrical fit-out, testing, and compliance environments.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nBusiness Development and Sales\n\nProspecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify opportunities for electrical installation, upgrade, and compliance work. Target building owners, facility managers, consultants, M&E contractors, and main contractors while qualifying leads based on electrical scope and feasibility.\n\nMarket Analysis: Gathering market and customer information, monitoring competitor activity, identifying new markets, and providing feedback on buying trends to develop effective sales strategies.\n\nAchieving Targets: Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed annual sales targets, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and revenue objectives.\n\nTendering and Quotation: Lead the full bid process, including attending technical site assessments, collaborating with the projects/estimating team to produce electrical costings, preparing detailed electrical proposals, and negotiating terms to close contracts.\n\nClient and Stakeholder Management\n\nRelationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with clients, consultants, electrical wholesalers, architects, and contractors to encourage repeat business and maintain a strong presence within the electrical installation market.\n\nClient Interface: Serve as the key point of contact for all electrical requirements—power distribution, containment, lighting, emergency lighting, data systems, and specialist equipment—ensuring technical clarity and client satisfaction throughout each project phase.\n\nPresentations: Preparing and delivering presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients and stakeholders to position the company's solutions effectively.\n\nProject and Team Coordination\n\nProject Oversight (Sales Perspective): Collaborating with estimating, and operational/delivery teams to ensure that project requirements are met, completed on time and within budget, and comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards (including NICEIC and other regulatory requirements).\n\nSales Pipeline and Reporting: Managing the sales pipeline, using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems for accurate data management and forecasting, and reporting sales performance metrics to senior leadership.\n\nTeam Leadership: Success in the role will lead to the need to recruit and manage additional salespeople.
