Are you an experienced electrician with a strong background in industrial installations and compliance? We’re recruiting for a Qualified Supervisor to oversee electrical works at a high-profile power station project in Ipswich.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering critical infrastructure upgrades. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all electrical activities on site.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and sign off electrical installations in line with BS7671 regulations
Manage and submit permit-to-work documentation
Liaise with the site SAP and project teams to ensure safe working practices
Conduct inspections and ensure all works meet required standards
Support commissioning activities and resolve technical queries
Maintain accurate records and compliance documentationRequirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018, incl. 2022 update)
JIB Gold Card
Strong experience in industrial/commercial environments
Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and site safety protocols
SMSTS/SSSTS or IOSH/NEBOSH (desirable but not essential)
Own transport and ability to commute to IpswichWhat’s on Offer
