Electrical QA/QC Engineer – Data Centre (Freelance)

Start: ASAP (Monday/Tuesday target)
Duration: 6–8 weeks
Hours: 10-hour days (9 paid, overtime available)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to support a live data centre project in London. This is a short-term, fast-paced role requiring someone who can step in immediately and take ownership of quality assurance across electrical packages.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical QA/QC inspections on site

* Ensure all works meet project specifications and quality standards

* Manage and review QA documentation and checklists

* Identify defects/snags and ensure close-out

* Support testing and commissioning readiness from a QA perspective

* Work closely with site teams to drive quality and handover completion

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer

* Strong background working on data centre projects

* Solid understanding of QA processes, inspections, and documentation

* Experience supporting handover and project completion stages

* Able to start immediately and work in a fast-paced environment
