Electrical Project Manager – Educational & Commercial Projects

Northampton Permanent | Up to £80,000 per annum

Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and growing MEP contractor as they seek a skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead a variety of education and commercial office fit-out projects based in Northampton and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term career progression within a professional and stable company that delivers high-quality building services solutions across the Midlands and South.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of electrical installation from pre-construction to final handover

Manage subcontractors, procurement, and site delivery teams

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical regulations (BS7671)

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain project timelines and budgets

*

Contribute to design reviews, RAMS, QA processes, and commissioning

*

Prepare and present project reports to senior management

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing electrical works on education or commercial office projects

*

Strong understanding of LV distribution, containment, lighting, fire alarms, and small power

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills
