Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in electrical systems, with a focus on delivering complex projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and be proficient in industry-standard project management tools.
Duties
* Lead and manage electrical projects, including planning, execution, and close-out phases.
* Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all milestones are met.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to establish project requirements and deliverables.
* Oversee the design process using Civil 3D for civil engineering components related to electrical infrastructure.
* Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to maintain deadlines.
* Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards throughout all project stages.
* Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders.
* Foster strong relationships with clients and team members to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
Skills
* Proven experience in managing electrical projects within a construction or engineering environment.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and planning.
* Experience with Civil 3D for civil infrastructure integration related to electrical works is desirable.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage complex schedules, budgets, and documentation.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining focus on objectives.
