Electrical Project Manager | M&E Building Services | Hampshire / South Coast | £60,000–£75,000 + Package
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager or a strong Project Engineer looking to step up into a full Project Management role, joining a growing M&E Building Services contractor delivering a range of commercial projects across the South Coast and surrounding areas.
The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality M&E solutions across commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects, supported by a consistent pipeline of repeat business. They are known for their hands-on, supportive approach and for giving their team genuine responsibility and autonomy in delivering projects.
The Role – Electrical Project Manager
This is a key hire within the business, with a clear objective of supporting continued growth and enabling senior leadership to focus more on commercial and strategic activities.
You will be responsible for managing projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
* Overseeing programme delivery and ensuring key milestones are met
* Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
* Supporting procurement and ensuring materials and labour are effectively managed
* Monitoring project costs and supporting commercial performance
* Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality are maintained
Requirements
* Experience at Project Engineer or Project Manager level within M&E Building Services
* Electrical bias , although mechanically aware candidates will also be considered
* Experience delivering commercial M&E projects (typically £100k–£1.5m)
* Comfortable managing projects day-to-day, both on site and operationally
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Stable career history demonstrating commitment and reliability
This role would suit candidates currently working as: Electrical Project Manager, Senior Electrical Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, Project Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Contracts Engineer.
Remuneration Package – Electrical Project Manager
* £60,000–£75,000
* Car or Car Allowance
* Bonus
* Pension
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)

* Early finish on Fridays (1:00pm)
