Overview Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Project Engineer to join their project delivery team supporting clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role is essential to the successful design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering solutions that meet client operational and technical requirements, particularly for Thames Water and Southern Water projects.Whilst permanent is the client's heavy preference, they would not rule out contractors. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the coordination and delivery of projects ranging in values and complexity, ensuring all projects to be undertaken are to an agreed cost, scope, and program.Support the SED team in the preparation the Project design and estimate (pre implementation)Capable of working on several projects and managing the works awarded to suppliers/subcontractors.Provide technical knowledge on the repair, refurbishment, or replacement of equipment & plant.Pre-construction process plan develop, implement, and monitor.Attendance of start-up, site visit, and design meetings.Ensure documentation is in place for handover and sign-off.Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings and compensation notices).Produce information for Project level KPIsProduction of accurate O&Ms & Health and Safety Files as required using the appropriate resource (in-house/outsourcing).Managing project teams (direct and Subcontract) and accountability for project delivery.Management of the activities of multi-disciplinary project teams in accordance with project delivery procedures.Ideal Skills & QualificationsA minimum of five years experience in a design and build project delivery role within the water industryNEC 3 knowledge and experienceHNC minimum in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringCSCSSMSTS18th Edition of BS7671 (Electrical only)Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit).Knowledge of UK water industry standards and practices (e.g., WIMES).JBRP1_UKTJ
