Job Description

With UK facing constant challenges with its logistics & supply chain the cost is now ever increasing on both design and installation which is partly due to projects being delayed or under delivered, this now an a concern to the end customer such as you.\n\nThis could all change with the help of an experienced Engineer such as your self!\n\nThis hybrid role will suit someone who is of a technical and administrative nature and enjoy working within a friendly and structured team. Routine tasks, seeing a job through to conclusion and the ability to work in a logical and systematic manner are important aspects of the role.\n\nJob responsibilities:\n\n * Studying the order file and reports on the feasibility of the requirements and regulations to the Project Leader Engineering (PLE) or Project Manager Engineering (PME)\n\n * Agree in consultation with the PLE/PME, the necessary engineering activities for the deliverables and planning details.\n\n * Reporting progress and deviations of worked hours to the PLE/PME\n\n * Design, specify and calculate the complete electrical controls installation (including the supply and power distribution) consisting of cabinets, field wiring, cable trunking and mechanical supports for the electrical components.\n\n * Design and validate power calculations (required max. power), cable calculations for the cable layout drawings and selectivity calculations.\n\nExperience required:\n\n * Electrical design for industrial installations and low voltage installations.\n\n * Experienced in working with engineering tools like Autocad and Eplan.\n\n * Electro-technology / Energy technology qualification ideal.\n\n * A structured individual with open approach to design and problem solving.\n\n * Knowledge of industrial networks like ProfiNet, ASi bus and Profibus
