Electrical Project Engineer - Aberdeen

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take ownership of full-cycle industrial projects? Do you enjoy designing bespoke electrical systems, managing delivery, and seeing your work come to life on-site?
We’re looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing team and support a variety of industrial, offshore, and low-voltage power system projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be involved in projects from concept through to completion, including:
Developing detailed project specifications Preparing accurate quotations and technical proposals Delivering electrical and system design using AutoCAD / EPLAN Creating parts specifications and BOMs Producing and planning testing specifications Leading project management activities and coordinating stakeholders Writing work packs, reports, and documentation Ordering equipment, components, and parts for project delivery Ensuring full compliance with industry safety regulations Supporting CE certification of products Occasional offshore site surveys (limited travel)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years’ minimum experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Strong background working with industrial low-voltage power systems Proficient in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN for electrical design Solid understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Offshore certification Experience with DC chargers, UPS systems, or related equipment
