Electrical Panel Wirer - Nottingham\nLocation: Nottingham\nShifts: Day shifts\nEmployment Type: Permanent\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nCompensation and Hours\n\nMonday to Friday\n\nHours of work:\n\nMonday to Thursday: 8.00am to 5.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break\n\nFriday: 8.00am to 2.00pm with no lunch break\n(These hours are fixed and non- variable)\n\nHourly rate: £16.31 per hour until June 2026, equivalent to £34,000 per annum\nOvertime rate: 1.5 x hourly rate for any hours worked above 40 per week\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to join our team in Nottingham. This is a stable permanent role with consistent hours, offering the chance to work on a wide range of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels.\n\nThe Company\n\nThe business designs and manufactures low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels, producing both standard and bespoke systems for a range of clients.\n\nRole Overview\nYou will be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels in line with engineering drawings. The work involves a mix of standard and bespoke panels, so the ability to accurately interpret schematics and work to precise specifications is essential.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReading and working from schematic and engineering drawings\nWiring, looming, and assembling control panels\nFitting units to specification\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nStrong electrical background\nExperience building control panels\nConfident reading and interpreting drawings\nAble to work well as part of a team
