Our client is a leading provider of construction and operations & maintenance (O&M) support services to major offshore wind farm projects. With a strong track record and ambitious plans for growth, they play a critical role in supporting the energy transition across the renewable sector.


The Role


We are seeking an Electrical Package/Service Engineer with a strong engineering background to oversee the coordination, and delivery of offshore project activities. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, in line with client specifications and internal QHSE policies.


Key Responsibilities


  • From an engineering viewpoint, oversee the delivery of all offshore activities in alignment with client needs and contractual obligations.
  • Approve work packs, RAMS, materials, and equipment for offshore campaigns; ensure reviews of pre- and post-campaign reports are completed and actions followed up.
  • Manage vendor relationships, reviewing and approving quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Take an active part in daily offshore coordination meetings to provide updates and address operational issues.
  • Liaise with both supply chain and client stakeholders to manage cost impacts from delays or downtime; support recharging activities where contracts allow.
  • Prepare and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), both internally and contractually, across cost, schedule, and change control metrics—highlighting risks and performance issues as needed.
  • Ensure all activities align with QHSE standards and continuous improvement practices.


About You


  • Electrically trained with a solid background in engineering and/or maintenance within the offshore or renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing work packages and coordinating technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of offshore construction, maintenance, operations and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (e.g. document creation, population, data management, reporting).
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead meetings, manage stakeholders, and deliver against project KPIs.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.


Desirable


  • Engineering qualification to HNC level.
  • Experience working in offshore wind, marine, or heavy industrial environments.
