Job Title: Electrical Fitter \nJob Location: Kings Heath Depot, Northampton \nShifts: Monday-Friday Days \nHourly Rate: £22.19 P.A.Y.E. / Pre 12 weeks £28.31 Umbrella / Post 12 weeks £29.83 Umbrella \nHours Per Week: 50 \nDuration: Ongoing (long term contracts) \nStart Date: August 2025 \n \nCompany Summary: \nWorking for a leading global provider of mobility solutions for urban interurban, and freight transportation sectors. \n\nPosition Summary: \nWorking at a newly refurbished depot in Northampton working on large-scale overhaul projects, you will be working with a team of Fitters focussed on refitting the interior of train carriages to modernise the fleet.

\n\nResponsibilities Include: \n* Electrical installation of train systems including Lighting, CCTV, USB and led lights \n* Fitment of PIS (Passenger Information Systems)\n* Read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams and modification instructions\n* Test and route electrical wiring and components\n* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults \n* Document all work completed including test results, materials used and any deviations from planned work \n\nPerson Profile: \n* Experience as a Electrical Fitter/Exam Technician/Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias \n* Be willing to learn new skills and attend training courses to expand on your skillset\n* NVQ Level 3 within a relevant engineering/electrical discipline \n* Ideally you will have Rolling Stock experience on electrical fitments/fault finding\n\nWe value your unique and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the of society.
