Zenith People are working with our client who are recruiting for an experienced, Time-served Electrical Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide engineering/ maintenance support by performing plant preventative maintenance, engineering support whilst working a Shift Pattern of Earlies & Lates You will be responsible for electrical/ mechanical maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant and equipment. · Fulfilling the requirements of the facility CMMS to reduce unplanned downtime and works towards improvement of OEE. · Electrical/ mechanical fault finding, isolation and repair of equipment. · Providing input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment. · Carry out evaluation and risk assessments within all areas of the plant to ensure safe working methods and environment · Ensure that plant critical spares are maintained at the required level. · Identify suitable external resource when appropriate for routing maintenance activities or ongoing improvement projects. · Use SAP to raise purchase requisitions as appropriate. · Working on plant improvement initiatives and makes recommendations to reduce unplanned downtime. · Working with suitable external engineering services as and when required to ensure safe and effective operation of plant equipment. · Undertaking periodic training to ensure that maintena...
