Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire - £50,000 + Package


Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to be based at a commercial estate based in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be required to carry out all aspects of multi-skilled maintenance as well as taking a lead on other members of the engineering team and sub-contractors. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in commercial building services.


This position would be ideal for an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of £50,000 + package, further training and the opportunity to work for a company considered a market leader in its field.

Working with the on-site client and reporting into Operations Director, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties.


Key duties & Responsibilities


Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across electrical systems and building services equipment.

Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

Support and coordinate a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure high standards of service delivery

Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

General Lighting

Changing Ballasts

Emergency Light Tests

LED Lighting

Small installations

Fault-finding

Lamping

Carry out all aspects of Hands-on maintenance

Maintain and update Logbooks

Monitor the BMS systems

Arrange specialist sub-contractors


Hours of Work


Monday to Friday 8am 5pm

£50,000

Requirements

Electrical Engineering Qualifications Level 2& 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent (Minimum)

18th Edition

A good understanding of all trades

Good communication skills
