Our Client has an immediate requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at Spalding
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor this role will involve responsibility for maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment and optimizing / monitoring plant performance.
Duties include:
Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore.
Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.
Work within the Maintenance team to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance.
Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS.
Timely and effective trouble shooting of day-to-day equipment and system issues.
Willing to cover ( paid ) On Call
The Person:
The successful candidate will also need to satisfy the following:
Criteria:
Electrical / Mechatronic Time served Apprenticeship with junior or senior trade qualification or equivalent
Experience working in facilities and in a cold store environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to apply engineering principles in a practical application
Core hours of work: 08.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4.00PM and weekends on a rota basis
Pay is based around a salary of £46,000 but paid hourly approx £19 per hour based on a 48 hour week. Any oncall out of hours or overtime is paid.
