This includes responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, and supporting other departments as needed to maintain smooth production operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMaintenance & Troubleshooting\n\nRespond quickly and effectively to machinery and equipment breakdowns\nConduct electrical maintenance on plant systems and process equipment\nIdentify electrical faults and complete repairs\nTroubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices\nTest electrical systems, components, and installations to ensure correct functioning\nPerform inverter control work: replacement, setup, and tuning as required\nWork safely and competently in medium to large process environments\n\nPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)\n\nFollow weekly planned maintenance schedules\nComplete and close works orders accurately\nCarry out planned and preventative maintenance on various plant systems\nMaintain compliance with electrical codes and standards\n\nTechnical Expertise & Documentation\n\nProgram and fault-find on PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley)\nRead, create, and modify electrical drawings\nWrite detailed shift reports and communicate issues to oncoming shifts\nAttend maintenance meetings when required\n\nSafety, Quality & Collaboration\n\nTake responsibility for personal and team safety at all times\n\nAdhere to organisational safety policies, procedures, and electrical standards\n\nMaintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in all work areas\n\nSupport production and quality teams where required\n\nAssist other departments to maintain operational continuity\n\nWork collaboratively as a flexible and proactive team member\n\nKey Customers\n\nManufacturing teams\nQuality teams\nProduction supervisors and shift leads\n\nMeasurement of Effectiveness\n\nAchievement of maintenance objectives\nReduction of site downtime (KPI-driven)\nQuality and accuracy of maintenance records and shift reporting\nCompliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards
