Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nightsDays: 05:30 to 17:30Nights: 17:30 to 05:30This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a major, fast-paced food manufacturing site where engineering is genuinely central to performance, reliability and production output.Youll be working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, supporting plant performance, responding to breakdowns, improving equipment reliability and helping keep production moving safely and efficiently.This is not a back-office engineering role. Youll be on the factory floor, working closely with production and engineering teams, solving real-time problems and making a measurable impact on uptime, OEE, safety and performance.The Electrical Engineer RoleAs an Electrical Engineer, you will: Respond quickly and safely to plant breakdowns, stoppages and faults Carry out electrical fault finding and repair across production machinery Work on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems Deliver reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance Maintain, adjust and optimise machinery to improve performance and uptime Support continuous improvement activity across reliability, OEE and efficiency Use SAP to record engineering labour, parts usage and maintenance activity Work with engineering leadership and external specialists on complex issues Ensure machinery operates to required quality, safety and product standards Support safe working practices, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures What Were Looking ForWere looking for an Electrical Engineer with: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ability Experience in manufacturing, food production, FMCG or industrial environments Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production setting Strong communication skills and attention to detail A proactive approach to reliability, safety and continuous improvement Why Apply?This is a strong opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who wants a stable, long-term role with a large, established UK manufacturing business.Youll benefit from: 4 on / 4 off shift pattern with regular time off A high-impact engineering role within a busy production environment Exposure to modern manufacturing equipment and systems Long-term career development within a large, multi-site organisation A site where engineering is valued, visible and relied upon every day Interested?If youre an Electrical Engineer with strong fault-finding skills and you want a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, wed like to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
