Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias

Salary £40000 to£42000

Shift:Monday- Friday DAYS07:30-17:30.

Annual leave:24days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

The role

We are looking for a hands on maintenance engineer with electrical bias, with proven hands on manufacturing experience. The role will be primarily reactive Mechanicalmaintenance engineer with an element of pre-planned electrical maintenance. The role will include supporting c.30 production units (extruders, printers & converters).

Electrical and mechanical knowledge.

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to carry out PPM and Reactive Activities to a key position in Northampton. The Maintenance engineer would be expected to assist with various reactive and Mechanical PPM tasks, as well as other duties around site.

The applicant is expected to be electrical biased and have a strong multi-skilled background within the Manufacturing warehouse industry.

Job Description/Duties:

• Electrical fault finding PPM's and Reactive maintenance
• Building Services tasks
• Working as part of a maintenance team to deliver a great service to the Plant /site
• Emergency light testing
• Changing lamps
• AHUs PPMs
• Basic plumbing
• Fire alarm testing

The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

To maintain, service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production down time.

Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings: A critical skill requirement for this position is the ability to understand and work with technical drawings.

Provide technical support on all projects, installations, and breakdowns.

Requirements

Must have 2 years maintenance engineer with electrical bias experience - Can be mechanical with electrical certified .
