This is a solid maintenance team, keeping things ticking over at a brick manufacturing site. It's not glamorous. It’s not full of buzzwords. It’s just real engineering work – getting your hands dirty, solving problems, and keeping the plant alive.
Some things you’ll be doing:
Fixing faults before anyone in management even notices there’s a problem Programming Siemens PLCs (and poking around inside others) Installing kit, running tests, doing PPMs, and hitting breakdowns head-on Getting involved with lean projects and SSOW docs (yes, the paperwork has to be done – sorry) Basically making sure the electrics don’t let the whole place down You’ll be working a 4-on, 4-off shift – 2 days (6am–6pm), 2 lates (12pm–12am). Then you're off for 4. Sleep in. Do the school run. Go fishing. Whatever.
You’ll need:
