Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are looking to recruit experienced Electrical Engineers to join our growing team at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You will work on a rotating shift pattern covering either mornings and afternoons, or solely on an afternoon shift. Key Responsibilities Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of machinery and equipment. Respond promptly and professionally to equipment breakdowns to minimise disruption to production. Undertake fault finding, including working with PLCs, and carry out repairs using a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering skills. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical and process issues. Identify and implement improvements in safety, processes, and technology. Accurately record all maintenance activities using the CMMS (Shire System). Maintain a proactive and positive approach to supporting the success of the wider business. As part of your duties, you must ensure that you have read, understood, and comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures, as outlined in our Integrated Management System (IMS). Shift Pattern: 6.00am - 2.30pm / Monday to Friday (Week 1) 6.00am - 2.30pm / Monday to Friday (Week 2) 2.30pm- 11.00pm / Monday to Friday (Week 3) About You Essential: A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering. 18th Edition qualification (current IEE Wiring Regulations). Experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Competent in diagnosing faults and working with PLC systems. Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. xehkeey A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
