Job Description
DK Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an expanding manufacturing company who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-moving production environment, maintaining critical equipment that keeps operations running safely and efficiently.\n\nThe Role\nAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain, fault-find, and repair electrical systems across the production site, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with production and engineering teams in a food-safe, hygiene-controlled environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of production machinery and site services\n\n * \n\n Fault-finding and repair of electrical systems, control panels, and PLCs\n\n * \n\n Supporting installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment\n\n * \n\n Working in compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and health & safety procedures\n\n * \n\n Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation\n\n * \n\n Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects\n\nCandidate Profile\n\n * \n\n Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in food manufacturing or a production environment\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding skills on electrical systems and PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar advantageous)\n\n * \n\n Experience with automated machinery desirable\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices in manufacturing\n\n * \n\n Ability to work shifts and respond to breakdowns\n\n * \n\n Team-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented approach\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary with shift allowance\n\n * \n\n Overtime opportunities\n\n * \n\n Pension and benefits package\n\n * \n\n Training and development opportunities
