Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct – Commercial Estate - Canary Wharf - £50,000\n\nExciting opportunity to work for a Direct Client situated in the Canary Wharf, East London. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a large commercial estate building located in Canary Wharf, East London. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G Level 3) with a proven track record in commercial electrical maintenance.
Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000, further training, overtime and career progression.\n\nDuties\n\nConduct routine inspection, testing, and mzaintenance of external electrical systems, including street and pathway lighting, car park lighting, and architectural lighting features.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components and systems in outdoor environments, including junction boxes, control panels, and circuit breakers.\nMaintain and service electrical infrastructure on bridges, including power supply, navigation lights, and decorative lighting.\nEnsure proper operation and safety of water feature electrical systems such as pumps, lighting, and control units.\nPerform electrical diagnostics using appropriate tools and interpret results to determine required corrective actions.\nPlan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and extend equipment lifespan.\nRespond promptly to emergency breakdowns or outages affecting outdoor electrical systems.\nLiaise with external contractors, suppliers, and utility providers where necessary to coordinate repair and installation works.\nEnsure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.\nMaintain accurate records of work carried out, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and materials used\n Hours of work\n\nMonday to Friday\n09:00am - 17:00pm\nNo call out\nPackage\n\n£50,000\n25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays \nUp to 12.5% Pension \nPrivate healthcare and dental\nCycle to work scheme\nLife assurance\nSubsidised gym membership\nOvertime Available\nCareer Progression\nTraining (Internal and External Courses)\nRequirements\n\nElectrically Qualified\nCity & Guilds - Level 3\nCity & Guilds - 18th Edition\nA proven track record in Building Maintenance working\nGood Communication Skills\nTraceable work History\nPlease send your CV to Fin Havering - CBW Staffing Solutions for more Information
