Job Description Electrical Lead Engineer – Woking, Surrey  -  FM Service Provider – £45,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting an Electrical Lead Engineer to oversee a retail commercial complex. You will own daily maintenance operations, focusing strongly on delivering an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. The Lead Engineer will also manage one engineer, ensuring smooth coordination of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) activities throughout the building.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

\n Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs alongside the Supervisor

\n

Arrange and oversee specialist subcontractors

\n

Manage reports and site logbooks in partnership with the Contract Manager and Supervisor

\n

Ensure all documentation is current and audit-ready

\n

Attend client meetings as required

\n

Lighting: small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements, etc.

\n

Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing

\n

Air conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)

\n

Monitor and adjust BMS as required (e.g., hot/cold calls)

\n

Maintain all statutory compliance requirements

\n

Requirements

\n Electrical (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)

\n

Multi-skilled with a strong commercial building maintenance background

\n

Client-facing, professional and presentable

\n

Hard-working, honest and reliable

\n
